Consignment Sales
Placing your instrument on Consignment: Our consignment sales service offers the opportunity to have us sell your used professional-level C flute, piccolo, alto flute, bass flute or headjoint.
Please do not send your instruments before contacting us first!
We require the owner to send the instrument to Flute World for evaluation and pricing. If the instrument requires repairs, it will be recommended first with an estimate. After estimating the value of the instrument, we will suggest a posting price. Flute World must have the seller's approval of the price before posting. We require an initial, non-refundable fee of $45.00 per instrument. If sending an instrument from outside the United States on a consignment basis, it is your responsibility to pay all shipping and customs / duty charges that may be incurred. A 20% commission will be deducted from the selling price of each instrument. When your instrument is sold, you will receive payment in U.S. dollars. All used instruments are available to customers on our ten day trial program. The customer is responsible for all shipping costs whether the instrument(s) is purchased or returned. Customer is liable for loss or damage of instruments (new or used) during the trial period.
